The Learner Pathway

ESTABLISH (Root) is the second phase of Garden Valley Church’s disciple making process. The basis of Establish is to form a community of believers committed to engaging in a learning process with purpose, accountability, and excellence. 

Learners will attend a series of classes (pathway) especially designed to create a strong foundation for disciple makers. 

Each Participant will be assigned a Guide to assist them on their journey. Guides are available for encouragement and information through the process as well as accountability.

The Establish pathway is by invitation and application only. Once the course begins new applicants are encouraged to apply for the next session.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Be born again
• Seeking to grow and learn in your faith
• Commit to attending all the classes in the Establish Path
• Regularly attend GVC services and events

COURSE EXPECTATIONS

• Commit to attending all Establish Classes 
• Up to three missed classes may be made up by meeting with the teacher 
• Should the learner miss more than three classes their guide will discuss options for moving forward
• Connect with your guide outside of church/class at least twice a month for encouragement, relationship, and fun!

IMPORTANT INFO

• Most classes will be held Wednesday evenings 6:30-8:00 at Garden Valley Church
• The schedule for 2024-25 is yet to be determined
• It is currently planned for 21 weeks October-May with some breaks
